When they start doing this for real it is pretty much the best thing ever. Sleeping in, here you come! Now just teach him to use the remote . . . ;)

With the twins we used to try to lock the fridge with cupboard locks, it didn't work that well but sometimes it stopped them.

Wow you're into all sorts of new things -- potty training and food preparation. :) Potty training has been by far my least favorite parenting experience so far, but now that it is done, I love it.

I'm a fan of the all or nothing approach so once we made the switch to underpants, there were no more diapers to fall back on. The clean up wasn't too bad since I always dressed her in long sweat pants and they almost always absorbed the accidents. Luckily for us #2 was just never a problem, she figured that out and never had accident. But we had five weeks of almost daily accidents! Funny enough, just when I was about to throw in the towel something just clicked and we went for like six weeks straight without no problems. Now every once in a while we hit a blip, but overall she is completely trained. So there you have my novel, GOOD LUCK!!
