Ho, Ho, Ho Christmas in July

Hey I am wondering if any of you smart people out there have any ideas for homemade Christmas gifts for family members. I have a few ideas of my own, but I wanted to see if any of you have done anything cool for your family. I am trying to get a jump on it because of when baby #2 is due to arrive.
I also wanted to leave you with a few cute pictures of my little boy who is getting to be so big. He is never lacking in the giving hugs department and we recently got a few pictures of him trying to give our cat Angel some love. She, on the other hand, looked like she wasn't too keen on the idea. Enjoy!!!

I haven't done this yet but I have thought of making flannel pajama pants for the whole extended family.

Alex is growing so fast! I am so excited for you to have baby #2. Do you know what gender it is yet? It has become a tradition for me to make calendars for my family. I buy blank calendars at Roberts. Then I get cute paper that goes with the holiday during the month, or it can be any cute paper that you want. I put that on the calendar, and then print pictures of my kids, or of whoever the calendar is for, to add to the calendar on the cute paper. I usually print two pictures for one month. If you don't have pictures of that person, you can just give them the photo squares to mount the pictures and have them print their own. I write in all the numbers, holidays, etc and add family birthdays on there as well. I also write the months and draw little pictures next to the month name that match the cute paper I used. You can get as creative as you want. I even make one for myself. It is fun, but I have to make ten a year, so I have to start now! If you don't want to do all that work, I hear that on snapfish.com you can make them with your pictures, and they will print it and send it to you. Have fun!

Oh your little guy is so cute!! :) It looks like the kitty is pretty tolerant too. :) I think you are SO smart to get started early on Christmas gifts. I wish I had done that last year!! I'm not good at homemade gifts, but we'd be happy with some of your homemade jam! :) While I was writing this, my baby literally ATE some fake straw from my plant - so she'll be super easy to please... :)

Cute, cute pictures! Love them..very sweet. That Alex sure is a cutie.

As far as gifts, my sister-in-law has made us all those boards with names or sayings on them. Come over and I'll show you a few she's made us. She also did another really creative thing for Christmas last year..hmm I'm terrible at explaining things, but I'll show it to you.

I totally want to do bread next week if you're still up for it! Let me know. :)

I am trying to make an apron, and I figure if it goes well it would be fun to make for moms, grandmas, etc.

I am also thinking Christmas???? and want to make stockings now that its more than just mike and me. I really haven't sewn much so we'll see how it goes.
